T.L.C. DOG TRAINING
Hi, my name is Sally Kellerman, and I am a professional dog trainer with over 30 years of experience. At TLC, we believe that training is as much about educating the dog’s owner as it is about training the dog. The relationship between dog and owner is key, and you simply can’t have success with one without involving the other. I am deeply passionate about achieving meaningful results for both dogs and their handlers, and I take pride in maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in everything I do.
Over the years, I’ve learned that no single method fits all when it comes to dog training. Dogs are as unique as their owners, and I tailor my training approach to meet the individual needs of both. My commitment to continuous learning means I’m always integrating the latest proven techniques, ensuring that the methods we use are effective and up-to-date. Together, we’ll work to understand your dog’s behavior and address any issues with a personalized plan that works for you and your dog.
At TLC Dog Training, our approach is innovative, results-driven, and holistic. We go beyond traditional obedience training to focus on real-world behavior, addressing the issues you encounter in your everyday life with your dog. Many dog owners find that their pets behave well during formal training sessions but struggle with behavior at home. That’s why we tackle the root causes of behavioral problems rather than just teaching basic commands like sit, stay, and come (though we cover those too!). We help you build a well-balanced, well-behaved dog by teaching skills such as setting boundaries, establishing clear leadership, and fostering healthy communication between you and your dog.
Mental stimulation is just as important as physical exercise for a well-rounded, happy dog. We focus on creating a balanced mind, body, and heart connection, ensuring your dog’s overall well-being. By achieving this balance, you and your dog can enjoy a fulfilling relationship built on mutual respect and understanding.
Training a dog is a skill that requires time, consistency, and dedication. It’s more than just teaching commands—it’s about truly understanding your dog’s behavior and developing a strong bond. We provide the tools, knowledge, and support you need to guide your dog through life with confidence.
Don’t wait for small problems to become big ones. Contact us today to start your journey toward a happier, healthier relationship with your dog.

Start training your puppy early. Don't wait until he is 12 months old.

Kevin at 5 months is learning to sit quietly whilst my grand daughter enjoys a play at the park.

Bella waits patiently whilst I teach the Owner how to do a sit-step-away.

Even a 3 month old puppy can learn a door boundary. He won't come in unless given the OK.

We can even teach our dogs to hold an imaginary boundary!
